The Artist Bruce Graham
About Bruce
Bruce Graham is an artist living and working the North East of Scotland. He derives much of his inspiration from the dramatic and varied Scottish scenery, and his paintings reflect his unique interpretation of our stunning landscapes. The coastlines, seascapes, cliffs and rock formations lend themselves to the use of palette knives to create layers of texture.
Bruce works mainly in oils, using both brush and palette knife to create paintings with style and depth. He is always keen to experiment with vivid colours capturing the beauty of Scottish countryside with a fresh twist.
The special quality of light of the northern skies, the endless variety of cloud formations and moody atmospheric skies are also reflected in much of his work. While many of the landscapes are based on actual locations, some have simply evolved from his imagination.
